The Seattle Supersonics Oklahoma-City based ownership group recently succeeded in getting its lawsuit over the Key Arena lease moved from state to federal court.
The City of Seattle wants to hold the Sonics to its lease deal and prevent it from moving (likely to Oklahoma City). A hearing is scheduled for Oct. 19 before federal Judge Ricardo Martinez in Seattle.
Sonics owner Clay Bennett is making plans to move the franchise if a new arena deal is not done by the end of October.
