Oklahoma Sooners Football: Dede Westbrook scores touchdown in NFL preseason debut

The former Oklahoma receiver showed beat his man deep for a 42-yard score against the New England Patriots.

Former Oklahoma Sooners wide receiver Dede Westbrook made his NFL preseason debut on Thursday evening, recording his first NFL catch in the third quarter of Jacksonville’s preseason game against the New England Patriots. Westbrook definitely made it count by beating his man deep for a 42-yard touchdown.

Dede is speedy.

Granted, the coverage was absolutely horrific, and Dede likely won’t have many big-play opportunities quite like this during the regular season. Pats CB Cyrus Jones also gave up a 97-yard TD earlier in the game, so he has to be feeling pretty bad about himself right about now.
