According to radio and newspaper reports, OU starting Offensive Tackle Akim Millington has left the team. He played five games last year for the Sooners.

Thompson Ready for Season Opener
After spending his first three years sitting behind a Rose Bowl MVP and a Heisman Trophy winner, OU Junior Paul Thompson will take the reigns as the Sooners starting quarterback this weekend against TCU. Thompson said he is ready to take on a leadership role on the field.
